Ryan began practicing yoga over ten years ago after discovering the peace of mind that it provided. He dove deeper into the practice as he realized it’s amazing holistic healing potential. Four years ago, he decided to spread these teachings by attending a yoga teacher training program in Pittsburgh. Ryan has a love for teaching and is inspired by his student’s devotion to step onto the mat day after day.

Ryan received his training in a Vinyasa Flow style of yoga. Since then, he’s focused his attention mainly on the alignment found in the Hatha and Iyengar styles. His classes are practical and grounding with a focus on breath, body awareness, and alignment.

Ryan is also a Registered Nurse and Level 2 Reiki Practitioner. When he’s not on the mat, he enjoys the outdoors, travel, reading and music.

“Every soul innately yearns for stillness, for a space, a garden where we can till, sow, reap, and rest, and by doing so come to a deeper sense of self and our place in the universe. Silence is not an absence but a presence, not an emptiness but repletion, a filling up.” -Anne D. LeClaire
